Design fabrication and installation of plant buildings in our workshop, supply and installation of pre-insulated underground pipe and pipe interfaces on site, supply and installation of 2no. Bulk solids dryers.

Plant Room

2 x 199kw fully modulating Viessmann biogas boilers, 2 biogas  boosters, heating manifold for heat distribution, 2 Lenz bulk dryers and 5 drying hook lift skips, pressurisation units and expansion vessels for system water level monitoring and auto top up.

Heat Usage

Heat from the CHP is combined with one of the Viessmann boilers to provide 450kw for drying and digester heating.

The second boiler is delivering 200kw for drying to the second lenz dryer.

More Information

This client required a biogas system to make use of the excess gas being produced at their AD plant. The heat produced is distributed to the site for drying via 2 Lenz dryers providing drying capacity of 520kW used to dry separated digestate for animal bedding and for Digester heating. We allowed an extra output for future expansion.

The plant rooms were installed into a 40ft high cube container with partition, both plant rooms contain a 199kW Viessmann boiler & modulating burner, biogas booster with all necessary ancillary control, pressure equipment and Ofgem metering requirements. We also provided 2 manifolds to distribute the heat across the multiple applications the client required.

Taking 6weeks to fabricate in our workshop the plant room was shipped to site ready for connection to onsite interfaces.

During fabrication the client made ready the concrete foundations, manifold, gas pipework & controls, this enabled a smooth delivery and commission of the plant.
