199kW Biogas Boiler

This Carmarthenshire based AD plant is now benefitting from increased thermal energy production and additional revenue into the business since installing a skid mounted Energy Pod.

Warehouse Biogas Boiler

The boiler and all other plant equipment needed is mounted on a steel skid which was built offsite and delivered to site ready to connect to their technology. The Energy Pod was delivered to the dairy farmer’s anaerobic digestion plant just 7  weeks after the order was placed.

The heat from the plant is distributed to an external dryer and the AD plant to facilitate pasteurisation of feedstock to ensure they meet PAS110 requirements for fertiliser. The external dryer transfers 85˚c hot water into force blown hot air – This hot air is being used on site to dry the plant digestate, which is used as fertiliser. Drying the digestate makes it easier to transport as well as increasing the nitrogen in the matter, raising it’s value. This “super fertiliser” is going to be sold by our customers, increasing their revenues.
